Our Selection Process [Top]
-
Foundation staff will review the preliminary inquiry letter and assess it with respect to the Foundation’s program tracks, granting approach, granting guidelines and available resources.
-
If it is determined that there may be an appropriate fit for the Foundation, we will request a full proposal. This entails a full project implementation plan, including a description of inputs, activities, anticipated outputs and outcomes, evaluation strategy, detailed budget, etc. We may assist in the development of this plan if possible.
-
Proposals are submitted to an independent external peer review. We request, but cannot guarantee, confidentiality when submitting proposals to this review. Following this review, the proposal may be declined or recommended to the Board of Directors.
-
Final funding decisions are made by the Board of Directors on a quarterly basis.
