A. The two most common reasons are:
- Ongoing program funding: The request is for continued and ongoing funding of an organization’s programs.
- Limited in scope: The proposed initiative has limited potential for impact beyond the immediate project target group or geographical area.
Q. Does Carthy Foundation fund administration costs?

A. While we do not provide grants solely for administrative costs, we encourage full cost accounting for all projects and we expect that project budgets will include related administrative and overhead expenditures.
Q. What is the range of funding Carthy Foundation will provide? [Top]
A. We do not have a defined range for grants. Rather, we assess and fund on a case-by-case basis.
Q. What are your deadlines for submission? [Top]
A. The Foundation accepts submissions year-round.
Q. How long does it take to reach a decision on a request for support? [Top]
A. The Foundation aims to respond within one month to those requests that we are not able to support. If you are invited to submit a proposal, it will take, on average, three to six months for a final decision.

A. The Foundation respectfully requests no public recognition.
